Collaboration on the Tour of NorwayThe 2026 edition has been cancelled. We are working to get the women's and men's race back in 2027. A new edition has not been confirmed. Talk to us about the way forward.
The turning point · 2025
2025 showed what the organization was capable of.
The Tour of Norway brings together international cycling teams, Norwegian talents and the public along the way. Fjords Cycling is responsible for the overall delivery, together with host venues, authorities, volunteers and suppliers.
Two stages for the women, four for the men. Jørpeland–Heia and Stavanger were joint arenas, with separate starts and different distances.
The women’s premiere in 2025.
The first women's edition under the Tour of Norway name.
On 31 May, the start took place at Jørpeland. The following day, Mie Bjørndal Ottestad entered Vågen alone and won both the final stage and overall.

From two race histories to one Tour of Norway.
2008–2018
Two starting points in Norwegian cycling history.
The Tour of Norway started in 2011. In Western Norway, the Rogaland Grand Prix was further developed into the Tour des Fjords, with the first edition in 2013. Each race had its own people, host communities and experience.
2018–2019
New formats. Combined strengths.
Hammer Stavanger introduced a new team format. In 2019, the Tour des Fjords and Tour of Norway were combined into one six-day race - from Stavanger to Hønefoss.
2020–2022
Back on the road.
After the cancellation in 2020, the race returned in 2021. The following year, six stages followed and Remco Evenepoel as the overall winner. Teams, volunteers and host cities could once again come together for an international race.
2025 · Women
The first women's edition.
98 women from 17 teams competed in the first women's edition. Justine Ghekiere won at Heia, before Mie Bjørndal Ottestad decided in Stavanger.
